Single Issue Groups

There are many problems in this world and an equal amount of solutions, if you find getting involved in larger organisations or political parties to be too much then maybe you could focus your energy a little more. There are limits to how much a single organisation can do and as a consequence there are many (usually smaller) groups of people who campaign on one issue alone. If you find your issue then maybe you could get involved, here are some examples.

Vegetarianism	The Vegetarian Society - promotes the vegetarian diet.
Legalise Cannsbis	An alliance covering many of the British cannabis campaign groups.
Homelessness	The Big Issue - a self-help approach to reducing homelessness.
Sanctions on Iraq	Campaign Against Sanctions on Iraq (CASI)
Plain English Campaign	Fighting for public information to be written in plain English.
Palestine Solidarity	Supports the Palestinian right of return as stipulated in UN Resolution 194
Dark Skies	Campaigns to reduce light pollution to create dark skies for astronomy.
